Lead Engineer – Cyber Security

About the role

This is a founding‑level technical leadership position on an AI security platform that protects database interactions from AI agents. You will own the production codebase, work directly with the founder, and drive platform hardening, scaling and go‑to‑market execution.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the existing production codebase and make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Lead efforts to harden, scale and extend the security platform.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and other early‑stage team members.
• Implement and maintain policy enforcement, threat detection and audit logging features.
• Contribute to product acceleration and market launch activities.

• Self‑starting, high‑calibre individual comfortable with full ownership in a founder‑led startup.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work independently without constant direction.
• High integrity, sound judgement and pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving, lean environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Willingness to be both strategic and hands‑on.
