Kitchen Manager

About the role

Are you an experienced hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent service? We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead and motivate the kitchen team.
• Ensure food is prepared according to Spur standards and procedures.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Manage stock levels, receiving and storage.
• Monitor food costs and minimise wastage.
• Prepare and manage kitchen staff schedules.
• Train and develop kitchen team members.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.
• Complete daily kitchen administration and checks.
• Ensure all company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Kitchen Manager or similar restaurant management role.
• Experience working in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of stock control, food costs and wastage.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable, energetic and hands‑on.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
