Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Klipboard is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our global team building C#/.NET solutions on Azure. You will work in a hybrid environment (three days in‑office, two days remote) and collaborate on AI‑enhanced ERP products for distributors and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and ship features using ASP.NET and Blazor on Azure.
• Own tickets from refinement through deployment in Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to increase productivity while validating output.
• Extend and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews, providing clear technical feedback.
• Investigate production issues and contribute to root‑cause analysis.
• Help shape AI‑enabled product features such as copilots, summarisation, and retrieval.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Agile and software development life‑cycle.
• Daily competent use of at least one AI coding assistant in delivery work.
• Curiosity about AI, openness to change and a willingness to learn.
• Junior‑level experience with C#/.NET development.

Required skills

• C# / .NET (including .NET Core / .NET 4.5 / .NET 8+)
• ASP.NET and Blazor
• WPF with XAML and MVVM architecture
• SAP Crystal Reports, Component One Active Reports, DevExpress Controls
• SQL Server or equivalent relational database
• Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, SQL)
• Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub Actions
• AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar)
