Junior Sales Engineer – Durban

About the role

Dupleix Liquid Meters (DLM) is seeking a motivated Junior Sales Engineer to support and grow its client base in South Africa. You will combine technical knowledge of instrumentation and valves with a proactive sales approach to deliver value to existing customers and capture new business.

Key responsibilities

• Call on and service existing clients while actively expanding the customer portfolio.
• Plan, execute, and report on sales calls and market penetration activities.
• Prepare and submit accurate quotations and deliver compelling sales presentations.
• Ensure sales budgets are met and contribute to branch profitability.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and stay updated on technical developments.
• Liaise regularly with customers to monitor service levels and address concerns.
• Evaluate internal policies for impact on customer satisfaction and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (preferred) with strong interest in instrumentation and valve technology.
• Proven sales track record or demonstrable sales potential.
• Self‑starter attitude with a go‑getter mindset.
• Own reliable transport and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
