Junior Quality Control Analyst – Food Tech/BioTech

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Control Analyst to join our team in the Nasrec area of Johannesburg. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of food‑tech, biotech and analytical chemistry products within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The successful candidate will work onsite, supporting product quality from raw material receipt through final dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain documentation of quality test results.
• Participate in internal audits.

Required profile

• Qualification in Food Technology, Biotechnology or Analytical Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the FMCG industry.
• Computer literate.
• Residency in Johannesburg South – Nasrec area required.
