Junior Python & DevOps Engineer (Remote, EU Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a strong interest in Python development and DevOps practices. You will work remotely on EU business hours, building backend applications, supporting deployment workflows, and collaborating with experienced engineers in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Assist with building internal tools and new application features.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues.
• Support system integrations and data workflow automation.
• Maintain data accuracy and monitor system reliability.
• Help design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Docker, cloud environments, and deployment tooling.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve code quality.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of software development experience or strong internship/project work.
• Demonstrated interest in backend development and DevOps concepts.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a consulting setting.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• API development and backend concepts.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Git version control.
• Familiarity with Flask or FastAPI (nice‑to‑have).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (nice‑to‑have).
