Junior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to support our construction projects, primarily focused on precast concrete products such as hollow core slabs and other structural elements. The role will be based in Benoni and involves close collaboration with site teams, engineers, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, track milestones and allocate basic resources.
• Interpret and verify architectural, structural and measurement drawings.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.
• Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on site.

Required profile

• Matric or Senior Certificate; tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management is advantageous.
• 2–3 years of experience in the building/construction industry, preferably with precast concrete.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Fluent in English (spoken, read and written).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook) and MS Project.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and measurement drawings.
• Familiarity with Revit or production drawing software is a distinct advantage.
