About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Technician to join our team in the East Rand area of Gauteng. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting computer networks, ensuring reliable internet connectivity, and providing first‑line technical assistance to end‑users.
Key responsibilities
- Install and configure new software and hardware across Windows and macOS platforms.
- Set up, monitor and troubleshoot computer networks, including VLANs, routing and switching.
- Provide technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Maintain system security and privacy in line with organisational policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an IT Technician.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching and internet connectivity.
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
