Junior Integration and Enablement Associate

About the role

Ozow is looking for a Junior Integration and Enablement Associate to support the integration and activation of SME merchants. You will work closely with merchants and internal teams to ensure integrations are healthy, correctly configured, and performing as expected.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor leakage and misconfiguration reports, identify integration issues, and reconfigure merchant settings as needed.
• Own end‑to‑end SME merchant integrations, diagnose and fix configuration problems, and provide technical support throughout the activation process.
• Maintain logs of issues, actions, and outcomes to support continuous improvement and reporting.
• Communicate status updates to merchants and internal stakeholders, escalating complex cases to senior team members.
• Log recurring technical issues and contribute to process and product improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in IT, computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in technical support, integrations, or related IT roles.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive, organised approach to monitoring and follow‑up tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with merchants and internal teams.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of web technologies such as REST APIs and webhooks.
• Experience with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and ticketing or alerting systems.
• Awareness of compliance and security standards like PCI‑DSS, KYC, AML and POPIA.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento) and POS or billing systems is advantageous.
