Junior Functional Consultant - Transactional Banking

About the role

SAP Fioneer, a spin-out of SAP focused on financial services software, is looking for a Junior SAP Transactional Banking Consultant. You will support the design, implementation and optimisation of solutions for the Transactional and Banking Services modules of the SAP Fioneer Platform, working alongside senior consultants to learn the platform, help improve processes and assist in integrating solutions into banks' and financial institutions' IT landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior consultants on SAP Transactional Banking activities on the SAP Fioneer Platform.
• Help design and deliver customer-focused solutions while building platform knowledge.
• Review module-related processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Support the implementation and integration of solutions into banks' existing IT environments.
• Contribute to digitalisation and process-automation initiatives under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Assist with initial implementations and ongoing module enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Up to one year of relevant experience, including internships or academic projects related to banking, technology or digital transformation.
• Basic understanding of banking processes and IT infrastructures.
• Interest in integrating banking solutions into existing systems and in process-improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills, business awareness and interest in IT solution design.
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken.
