Junior Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Junior Frontend Developer to join our digital team in Johannesburg. You will help build modern, user‑friendly web applications while working alongside experienced developers in a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive and accessible web interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable front‑end code.
• Collaborate with designers and back‑end developers to integrate UI components.
• Debug and resolve UI/UX issues and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Angular or Vue.js).
• Basic understanding of REST API integration.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Good eye for design, problem‑solving attitude and strong communication skills.
