Junior Field Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Field Service Technician to join our team in Edenvale. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of equipment, ensuring it operates at full capacity for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair systems to full working capacity.
• Assess, repair, and provide detailed reports on a wide range of equipment.
• Deliver, install, and commission new equipment within the company’s portfolio.
• Re‑build and commission existing equipment as required.
• Perform annual maintenance on demo equipment.
• Complete quality field actions and maintain warranty documentation.

Required profile

• Matric / Senior Certificate (tertiary qualifications advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Basic technical experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong independent work ethic and excellent time‑management skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work after‑hours on an ad‑hoc basis.
• Willingness to travel nationally or internationally when needed.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
