Junior External Sales Representative – Own Vehicle Required

About the role

We are a fast‑growing South African beverage company looking for a Junior External Sales Representative to join our field team. You will work on‑the‑road, meeting pre‑qualified prospects, conducting product tastings and converting interest into sales. No prior experience is required, but a reliable vehicle and a passion for people are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑booked meetings with warm, qualified prospects.
• Conduct in‑person product tastings and demonstrations.
• Close new customers who are ready to commit.
• Upsell existing accounts with new products, ranges, and seasonal offerings.
• Onboard new customers and ensure an excellent first experience.
• Follow up consistently after tastings to secure the sale.
• Build genuine, long‑term relationships with customers.
• Manage territory schedule efficiently and independently.
• Log all activity, notes, and outcomes accurately in the CRM.
• Hit weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence (essential).
• Previous experience in field sales, account management, or B2B sales (preferred).
• Exceptional relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, warm, and professional in face‑to‑face interactions.
• Highly reliable and able to be depended on by customers and the team.
• Strong follow‑up discipline and ability to manage own schedule.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and eager to grow.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Monday.com.
