About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Pretoria. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with some accounting experience who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. You will support day‑to‑day accounting tasks, contribute to financial reporting, and collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and reconcile bank statements accurately.
- Process client data and maintain up‑to‑date records.
- Prepare management statements and assist with SARS tax filings.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and ensure proper record‑keeping.
- Maintain employee payroll and related personnel records.
Required profile
- Degree in accounting or currently studying towards one.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Required skills
- Pastel accounting software.
- Xero accounting software.
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from R15 000 to R17 000.
