IT Sales and Solutions Manager (Solutions Architect)

About the role

Linkage is seeking an experienced IT Sales and Solutions Manager to grow its Cloud Practice. The role focuses on delivering assessments, training and enablement programmes that help SMMEs build profitable cloud businesses. You will combine sales expertise with technical knowledge to drive client engagement and cloud adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales using a targeted, cloud‑solution‑focused client engagement approach.
• Manage lead generation, sales processes and client service technology to consolidate client information.
• Design and execute data‑driven marketing campaigns that generate demand.
• Articulate the value of Linkage’s cloud solutions and produce compliant responses to RFx.
• Enable clients to develop cloud‑computing competencies and guide workload migrations to the cloud.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Solutions Architect in the technology industry.
• Direct experience selling IT/Cloud solutions and a proven track record of new‑business development.
• Strong client‑engagement, meeting‑facilitation and presentation skills.
• People‑management and networking ability across all business levels.
• Ability to think clearly, act decisively in crises and prioritize effectively.
• Technology consulting experience and deep knowledge of service delivery.
• Self‑starter mindset with a focus on meeting quarterly revenue targets.
• Passion for learning, guiding project delivery and developing others’ technical skills.
