About the role
The IT Operations Manager will lead the municipality's server and network functions, ensuring reliable day‑to‑day IT services. This senior position reports to senior municipal leadership and contributes to strategic IT planning.
Key responsibilities
- Manage server and network operations, overseeing daily performance and incident resolution.
- Develop and control the capital and operating budget for the IT infrastructure.
- Coordinate regular meetings with the network and server teams to align on projects and upgrades.
- Participate in IT strategic, project and budget planning activities.
- Formulate and enforce departmental policies, procedures and reporting on network changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- At least eight years of IT experience, including two years in operations management.
