About the role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Consultant to join our supply chain team. In this role you will assess, analyze and optimise inventory management processes for our manufacturing clients, helping them reduce costs and improve accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate current inventory practices and identify inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement optimisation strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and performance of inventory staff.
- Identify obsolete stock, recover associated costs and remove it from the warehouse and system.
- Apply and enforce inventory management policies across the organisation.
Required profile
- BCom degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, primarily in operational roles.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lead and monitor inventory teams.
