About the role

St Cyprian’s Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate Phase Teacher to start in January 2027. The successful candidate will create a safe, inspiring environment where learners are encouraged to explore, question and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons for intermediate phase students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
• Foster strong, supportive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to develop interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Maintain a well‑organized classroom that promotes curiosity and independent thinking.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in intermediate or preparatory education.
• Passion for creating inclusive, student‑centred learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the school’s values of curiosity, courage and love of learning.
