Integrated Marketing & Communication Specialist (Contractor)

About the role

Standard Bank Group is looking for an Integrated Marketing & Communication Specialist on a part-time contractor basis in Johannesburg. The role implements winning IMC campaigns for the assigned business unit, country, sector, product or coverage area, delivering a consistent message across advertising, direct marketing and digital marketing channels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement IMC campaigns for the BU/country segment, sector, product or coverage area in scope
• Ensure cohesive, integrated marketing delivery across advertising, direct marketing and digital marketing channels
• Deliver a consistent and compelling message to target audiences
• Contribute to marketing excellence, innovation, partnerships and collaboration within the BU/country while aligning to Group standards

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing
• 5+ years of experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at executive level and delivering high-impact marketing strategies and plans
• Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including market trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
• Proven experience using marketing technology such as marketing automation, CRM systems, analytics tools and campaign management solutions
• Hands-on experience across digital channels including social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO and SEM
• Data-driven mindset and exceptional project management skills, with proven collaboration across cross-functional teams
