About the role

We are looking for a motivated Instrument Technician Assistant to support our instrumentation team in a petrochemical environment. The role offers hands‑on experience with plant instrumentation and the opportunity to develop technical skills on the job.

Key responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with installation, calibration and maintenance of instruments.
Support routine inspections and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all instrument activities.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe and efficient plant performance.

Required profile

Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
Apprenticeship or learnership experience in instrumentation.
Previous exposure to the petrochemical or chemical industry.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Clear, traceable references.
