Information Pharmacist

About the role

The company seeks an Information Pharmacist to deliver reliable, up‑to‑date clinical and product information across the organisation. You will combine knowledge of plasma fractionation, pharmaceutical products and information‑management techniques to support business and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and disseminate current information from journals, databases and internet sources to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with the Information Management Officer to circulate printed and electronic material.
• Monitor developments in the plasma fractionation industry and the broader pharmaceutical market.
• Handle Medicines Information queries via email and website, providing accurate responses or routing as needed.
• Test website resources and communication links, escalating technical issues.
• Maintain physical and electronic reference filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of clinical and product data.
• Prepare clinical and risk‑assessment reports, literature reviews and dossier modules.
• Review and update Professional Information (PI), Patient Information Leaflets (PIL) and external treatment guidelines.

Required profile

• Clinical acumen with a solid understanding of plasma‑derived medicinal products.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or clinical information services.
• Strong ability to evaluate, organise and present scientific information.
• Excellent written communication for advising healthcare professionals.
