Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead J2K Consulting's HR function, ensuring the workforce is skilled, motivated, and compliant with all relevant legislation. This senior role partners with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational goals and supports a positive, sustainable work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and promote the company as an employer of choice.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with labour laws, health and safety standards, and public transport regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with unions, governing bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop the internal HR team.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes, resolve conflicts, and manage grievance procedures.
• Utilise HRIS data and analytics to inform workforce planning, absenteeism trends, and retention strategies.
• Implement automation solutions to improve HR administrative efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR leader, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive change and support organisational transformation.
