Human Resources Manager

About the role

The company, a well‑established manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the full HR function across its operations in White River.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning & development.
• Manage Sage VIP Payroll for more than 300 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of South African labour law and occupational health & safety legislation.
• Lead Employment Equity, Social and Labour Plans and produce required compliance reports.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior management and support organisational growth.

Required profile

• HR Management qualification or equivalent tertiary qualification; Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in a medium to large organisation.
• At least 3 years of experience managing Sage VIP Payroll for a workforce of 300+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law, OHS legislation and Employment Equity requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
