Human Capital Manager – Tyger Valley/Bellville

About the role

The Human Capital Manager will lead the HR function for a growing organisation in Tyger Valley, working closely with the CEO and executive committee. This senior role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on implementation to drive people and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Human Capital function, providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day support.
• Partner with the CEO, Exco and leadership team on people‑related priorities and business strategy.
• Drive BBBEE, Employment Equity, transformation and change‑management initiatives.
• Oversee learning and development, talent management, succession planning and performance management.
• Manage employee relations, engagement, culture and payroll governance.
• Develop and empower the HR team while delivering commercially‑focused advice across the organisation.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or Human Capital degree.
• 10+ years of broad HR/HC experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Proven expertise in BBBEE/EE, transformation, employee relations, L&D, succession and talent management.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, policies and payroll processes.
• Experience leading an HR team in sectors such as wholesale, logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, retail or energy.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English and willingness to travel within the Western Cape.
