Human Capital Intern – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term Internship

About the role

Join the Mass Foundation Cluster at Old Mutual as a Human Capital Intern for six months. You will support the Human Capital team in delivering HR services to the low‑ and emerging‑middle‑income market segment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR function in line with SLA parameters.
• Assist with HR data analysis and prepare recommendations for performance improvement.
• Support HR consultants and business partners in organisational development, employee engagement and change initiatives.
• Help implement people‑plan initiatives, onboarding processes and other HR procedures in assigned client areas.
• Maintain the HR calendar and ensure compliance with HR controls and protocols.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles, labour law and people practices.
• Familiarity with onboarding and employee‑relations processes (preferred).
• Experience with HR software or systems is an advantage.
• Availability for the full six‑month internship and reliable transport to the Pretoria office.
