Human Capital Business Partner

About the role

The Human Capital Business Partner will act as a generalist HR advisor to the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), ensuring alignment with national human capital policies and procedures. This role supports business units across the organisation by providing strategic and operational HR guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive HR business partnering services to all SABS divisions.
• Drive compliance with SABS Human Capital policies and national regulations.
• Advise managers on talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives that promote a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
