HR Partner – Fixed Term (12 months) – Builder Experience

About the role

The HR Partner will join the Builder Experience Team (BeXT) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, focusing on delivering personalized people support to AWS Builders. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and builders, shaping HR strategies that enhance the builder experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with AWS business leaders and HR teams to design and implement talent, performance, compensation, and employee‑relations initiatives.
• Represent AWS in CCMA cases, attend conciliation and arbitration hearings, and prepare related documentation.
• Consult, coach, and develop leaders on decision‑making, talent management, people development, and performance management.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all Builders and advocate for their needs throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as the first escalation point for Builder concerns, applying high judgment and navigating Amazon policies.
• Promote adoption of HR technology and self‑service tools.
• Conduct complex workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as an HR generalist.
• High proficiency in English.
