HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The role offers the chance to work across the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance with South African labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, incapacity and employee relations.
• Support performance management, talent development and learning initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records, assist payroll administration and ensure statutory compliance.
• Contribute to HR strategy implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.

Required skills

• SAGE People 300 (or similar payroll/HRIS system).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
