HR Advisor

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to partner with regional leadership, ensure compliance with employment law, and drive cross‑country HR initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor on compensation, benefits, and employee relations while supporting strategic HR projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise the organization on necessary adjustments.
• Lead cross‑country HR projects, aligning initiatives with business needs and collaborating with HR Business Partners.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries for leadership.
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits, including retention bonuses, and coordinate with finance for budget alignment.
• Advise leaders on employment relations, policies, and compliance with labor laws.
• Serve as liaison for the Works Council and support updates to the Employee Handbook.
• Address complex employee inquiries related to benefits, retirement, and compensation.
• Oversee HR project communication, facilitation, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Coach and mentor HR teams and business leaders on best practices.
• Support talent management initiatives and advise on long‑term sickness and accident‑related absences.
• Act as primary contact for audit‑related HR inquiries and provide shared services support when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising managers on HR policies, employee relations, and workforce planning.
• In‑depth knowledge of labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional, multi‑country projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Capability to coach, mentor, and influence senior leaders.
