About the role
The HR Advisor will support the implementation of people initiatives across Dentsu's Cape Town office. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, the role requires a data‑driven mindset and the ability to engage stakeholders on a range of HR topics.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support for HR strategy, including communication, implementation and monitoring of initiatives.
- Execute HR processes, standards and tools to meet function objectives.
- Support monitoring of organisational and HR metrics to improve human capital effectiveness.
- Assist with change‑management activities, preparing communications and analysing data.
- Help line managers develop and implement career plans for employees.
- Support performance development processes and drive effective performance conversations.
- Work on employee‑engagement projects defined by the HR Director.
- Collaborate with managers to resolve routine employee‑relations issues and build managerial capability.
- Provide analytical support to HR teams and business partners.
- Perform HR administrative tasks not covered by the operations team.
- Participate in Workday implementation projects and data‑cleansing activities across the region.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification; a degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an HR department.
- Background in a media agency environment is preferred.
- Computer literate with experience using the Workday system preferred.
