HR Administrator – Mining & Construction (Boksburg)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented HR Administrator to support the human resources function across multiple mining and construction projects. The role ensures smooth HR administration, compliance with labour legislation, and seamless employee lifecycle management from recruitment to onboarding and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
• Prepare employment contracts, onboarding documentation, and HR correspondence.
• Assist with recruitment activities: job ads, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Conduct pre‑employment checks (references, qualifications, criminal records) and coordinate new‑employee inductions.
• Respond to employee queries, manage leave administration, and support wellness initiatives.
• Handle disciplinary, grievance, and employee‑relations documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external training requests, maintain training records and certificates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labour legislation, Employment Equity and BBBEE reporting.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR administration experience, preferably in construction, engineering, mining or project‑based environments.
• Strong organisational, communication and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
