About the role

The Healthcare General Assistant supports residents and the multidisciplinary team by providing personal care, assisting with mobility, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Key responsibilities

Assist staff with assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
Provide personal care such as bathing, hygiene, and mobility assistance using specialised equipment.
Participate in ward meetings and adhere to infection control policies.
Maintain professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors.

Required profile

Grade 12 qualification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
At least 6 months experience in healthcare.
Willingness to work flexible shifts and complete induction training.
