Head of Retention

About the role

Lead and scale the Retention Department for a global forex brokerage in South Africa, driving revenue, client satisfaction and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of retention officers, senior retention staff and team leaders, setting and monitoring KPIs.
• Develop and implement client‑retention strategies to maximise deposits and trading activity, including VIP client handling.
• Drive revenue results, monitor sales funnels, conversion rates and agent performance, and analyse data to improve processes.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, marketing and trading teams and prepare performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Forex/CFD retention, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven sales and retention track record with high target achievement.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with trading platforms MT4 and MT5.
• Understanding of deposit/withdrawal flows and the trader lifecycle.
