Head of Marketing

About the role

African Safari Group (ASG) is a leading luxury safari operator seeking a commercially driven Head of Marketing. You will shape and execute the overall marketing strategy, strengthen the ASG brand, and drive growth through data‑focused, innovative campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Expand marketing automation and AI capabilities to improve efficiency, personalization, and lead nurturing.
• Lead and optimise PPC and paid media activities across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads and other performance channels.
• Mentor and manage the marketing team while overseeing brand management across all channels.
• Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, email marketing, and social media.
• Oversee content creation, campaign management and collaboration with Sales to generate high‑quality leads.
• Monitor performance, budgets, ROI and analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage relationships with agencies, partners and suppliers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, lead generation and campaign management.
• Experience managing budgets and measuring marketing performance.
• Commercially focused with a history of delivering measurable ROI.
