Guest Relations Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Guest Relations Manager leads the Guest Relations team to ensure the highest level of service for hotel guests. This role oversees all guest service operations, drives revenue growth across accommodation, conference and F&B segments, and supports front‑office duties within the Rooms Division.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control all guest services and related administrative tasks.
• Maximise and grow accommodation, conference and food & beverage revenues to meet forecasts.
• Handle front‑office duties as part of the Rooms Division.
• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, dignity and integrity.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Hospitality Management qualification or similar; relevant qualification advantageous.
• Proven experience in Guest Relations.
• Calm, problem‑solving attitude under pressure.
• Strong communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can also work independently and lead by example.
• Professional appearance and trustworthy character.

Required skills

• Experience with a hotel management system, preferably Protel.
