Group Accountant

About the role

Impact.com is seeking a Group Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting finance team. The role focuses on core accounting functions, financial controls, and month‑end close activities across the group’s subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger for all group subsidiaries.
• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in line with finance objectives.
• Develop, consume, and validate operational system inputs for accounting purposes.
• Implement and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliation schedules, building new reconciliations where gaps exist.
• Act as first reviewer for allocated close‑process areas, ensuring quality of output.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Technical Accounting, and other finance functions on an ad‑hoc basis.

Required profile

• Fast learner and self‑starter capable of delivering high‑quality work with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt processes and implement change within a financial control environment.

Required skills

• Experience with general ledger accounting and month‑end close procedures.
• Proficiency in balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting standards and policies.
