About the role
We are seeking a recent graduate with a strong academic record to join leading South African engineering firms as a Mechanical Design Engineer. This position offers exposure to projects across aviation, defence, manufacturing, mining, and heavy engineering sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in developing detailed mechanical designs and drawings.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design compliance with project specifications.
- Support prototype testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 85% university average.
- Demonstrated passion for mechanical design and engineering excellence.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to work on diverse engineering projects in South Africa.
