Graduate Fund Management (2027 Cohort)

About the role

Growthpoint Properties, South Africa's largest JSE-listed REIT, is recruiting 2027 graduates for its Fund Management graduate programme based in Sandton, Johannesburg. The 12-month programme gives graduates real responsibilities and impactful projects across the company's property portfolio, with exposure to different teams and operations in off-site locations. Each graduate attends a role-specific learnership and is mentored by a Senior Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge to real-world problems and improve service delivery
• Collaborate with industry leaders on long-term projects and explore diverse property sectors
• Craft reports, briefings, articles and presentations and deliver business reports tailored to different audiences
• Monitor progress and review action plans to support strategic implementation
• Work with cross-functional teams, project groups and stakeholders internally and externally
• Take part in meetings, events and team activities, and contribute to business planning

Required profile

• Graduate with a BSc in Property Studies, BCom in Accounting or Economics, or BSc in Engineering
• Analytical mind, strong interpersonal skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Deadline-driven, with good organisation, attention to detail and presentation skills
• Willingness to work after hours or on weekends when required

Required skills

• Confidence with digital tools, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and presentation skills
