About the role

Growthpoint, South Africa's largest JSE-listed REIT, is recruiting 2027 graduates for its Graduate Programme based in Sandton, Johannesburg. The programme is aimed at curious, ambitious graduates and lasts 12 months, offering real responsibilities, impactful projects and continuous learning across the company's property portfolio. Graduates receive a role-specific learnership and are mentored by a Senior Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge in real-world settings and collaborate with industry leaders on long-term projects.
• Solve real problems by improving service delivery and driving innovation.
• Craft reports, briefings, articles and presentations, and deliver business reports tailored to different audiences.
• Monitor progress and review action plans to support strategic implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project groups and stakeholders, and contribute to business planning and strategic conversations.
• Take ownership of your own development with support from mentors and peers.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering for the Sustainability and Energy track.
• Qualifications aligned with the property and built environment sectors are welcomed.
• Analytical mindset, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Deadline-driven, with good organisation, attention to detail and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work after hours or on weekends when required.

Required skills

• Confidence with digital tools, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
