Graduate Data Analytics Developer

About the role

Our client is seeking a Graduate Data Analytics Developer to join their Business Performance Management team in Johannesburg. This entry‑level position focuses on building and maintaining financial models using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and delivering analytical insights to internal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build multidimensional OLAP cubes within the TM1 environment.
• Develop business rules using the native TM1 rules engine.
• Create and maintain ETL processes to import and extract data from various source systems.
• Develop user interfaces for data capture and review.
• Design and deploy reports, data tables, and visualisations that provide actionable insights.
• Communicate progress and results to stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑year tertiary qualification in Commerce, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering.
• Matric‑level accounting knowledge; tertiary accounting preferred.
• Logical thinker with good programming ability and a solid grasp of basic computing principles.
• Understanding of fundamental financial and management accounting concepts.
