Graduate Area Manager

About the role

As a Graduate Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead a diverse team on an operational site in South Africa, ensuring safety, productivity and quality while supporting the fast‑moving demands of the business. Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across your shift.
• Analyse performance data, implement corrective actions and drive productivity to meet business targets.
• Lead and coach a team, handling administrative duties and fostering a strong team culture.
• Identify process improvements, collaborate with other managers and standardise shift procedures.
• Manage routine team tasks, escalations, contingency planning and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) obtained within the last 24 months.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with peers, leaders and external partners.
• Interest in logistics or operational environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
