Global Trainee – Information Systems (24‑month program)

About the role

Join ABB’s Global Trainee program in Information Systems, a 24‑month fixed‑term position based in South Africa. You will support business operations, collaborate across teams and contribute to strategic objectives while gaining hands‑on experience through three distinct assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of products and services within the assigned area.
• Participate in formal training and leadership development activities.
• Deliver assigned tasks and projects during each rotation.
• Contribute to social events and team activities to build a broad network within ABB.
• Complete three assignments: 9 months in the home country, 6 months abroad, and a final 9 months back home.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (preferably Master’s) in Information Technology or Information Systems.
• Interest in business analysis and process improvement; internship or university project experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working with data and structured information.
