General Worker – Pro Parcel (Cape Town)

About the role

The FP du Toit Transport Group, founded in 1968, now offers a full range of logistics services including Jet.X Couriers, Pro Parcel (part-load and distribution) and Wesbank Transport. It is hiring one General Worker for its Pro Parcel operation in Cape Town, reporting to the Manager in RSA.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and report any damage or anomalies to the supervisor immediately
• Keep the working area clean and tidy
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Follow security measures, including inspections and quality checks
• Carry out other general duties within the scope of a General Worker

Required profile

• Valid Grade 12 certificate
• 1-2 years' experience is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
• Willingness to work overtime and shifts
• Physically fit to handle large and heavy freight
• Reliable, accurate and dependable, with attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure, follow instructions and learn quickly
• No criminal record and South African citizenship
