Functional Head – ICT Centre Management (2-Year Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Functional Head will lead the management, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the physical infrastructure that supports the City’s data‑centre facilities. This two‑year fixed‑term position ensures the reliability, efficiency and resilience of critical ICT services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the data‑centre’s physical infrastructure to guarantee continuous availability and efficiency of critical systems.
• Plan and implement risk‑management, business‑continuity and sustainability measures for the infrastructure.
• Oversee compliance with legislative, regulatory and organisational standards, and manage contracts, assets and service providers.

Required profile

• Three‑year tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• At least six years’ experience in data‑centre or facilities management.
• Valid Code B driving licence and ability to undergo a criminal record check.
