Full Stack Developer + AI (Remote)

About the role

A client is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join its founder and become one of the first technical hires at a rapidly growing SaaS company. The engineer will build new product functionality, improve the existing platform and use AI technologies to speed up development and deliver great customer experiences. The position is remote, with 40 hours per week during Monday to Friday, overlapping North American business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build customer-facing features from concept through deployment.
• Work directly with the founder to set product priorities.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services, and build responsive user interfaces.
• Integrate modern AI technologies, including AI agents, automations and intelligent workflows.
• Optimize performance and reliability, troubleshoot production issues and write clean, tested code.
• Recommend architectural and process improvements and help set engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend experience (React, Vue, Angular or similar) and backend experience (Node.js, Python, Java, C# or similar).
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and excellent English.
• Availability during U.S. Central or Eastern business hours.
• Nice to have: startup experience, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD, vector databases, RAG or AI orchestration frameworks, and Spanish.

The salary range is $3,000 - $6,000 USD per month, depending on the interview result, skills and experience; the final offer is at the client's discretion. The contract is as an independent contractor.
