Fulfilment Lead – Vaal

About the role

The Fulfilment Lead will oversee the end‑to‑end fulfilment operation at our Vaal facility, ensuring that the right goods reach the right customers at the right time. This role combines operational management, customer service focus, and people leadership to drive efficiency and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor daily fulfilment operations in line with the overall supply‑chain strategy.
• Develop and implement fulfilment processes, internal controls and risk‑management policies.
• Lead a team of staff, ensuring they are trained, engaged and compliant with customer‑service standards and relevant legislation.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports and identify improvement opportunities to optimise layout, space utilisation and fleet usage.
• Maintain stock accuracy, oversee safekeeping practices and drive corrective actions for deviations.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms and support range management.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and implement initiatives to enhance satisfaction.

Required profile

• Grade 12/Matric with a relevant diploma or degree.
• 3–4 years of inventory management or demand‑forecasting experience, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Minimum 2 years of people‑leadership experience.
