Front Office Lodge Anchor – Luxury Safari Lodge

About the role

The luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sands is looking for a professional, guest‑focused Front Office Lodge Anchor to become the first point of contact for guests and ensure seamless front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and register guests, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage reservations, cancellations and special requests using the lodge’s hospitality system.
• Provide accurate information about lodge services, activities and local attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and emergencies with a calm, solution‑oriented approach.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security and other departments to guarantee a smooth guest experience.
• Maintain front‑office records, cash handling and daily reporting.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) or a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in front office, guest relations, reception or lodge anchor roles within a luxury or 4/5‑star environment.
• Valid South African driver’s licence; own reliable transport is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and experience using hospitality management systems.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
