Front Desk Receptionist – Lakeside Lodge

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Jozini Tiger Lodge & Spa, a 4‑star lakeside retreat in Northern KwaZulu‑Natal. You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage reservations and ensure a smooth, memorable stay for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, complete check‑in and check‑out procedures, and provide information about lodge facilities.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations and modifications while keeping guest data accurate.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and complaints, arranging special services such as restaurant bookings or transportation.
• Provide local attraction, dining and activity information to enhance the guest experience.
• Build positive guest relationships, handle feedback with empathy and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain confidential guest records, reservation logs and assist with billing and financial transactions.
• Handle phone calls, emails and in‑person queries, directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
