About the role

The Mamelodi Sundowns Internship offers passionate football enthusiasts a hands‑on experience within a leading South African football club. Interns will support daily operations across multiple departments and gain insight into professional sport management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist departmental activities, handling day‑to‑day tasks and project support.
• Provide administrative and logistical support during training sessions and matches.
• Help plan and organise events such as matches, tournaments and community initiatives.
• Contribute to marketing and communications, including social‑media management and content creation.
• Support club operations with data entry, document management and inter‑departmental coordination.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis and fan‑engagement strategies.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in sports management, marketing, business administration or a related field.
• Strong passion for football and interest in a sports industry career.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social‑media platforms.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
