Food Service Ambassador – Hotel & Restaurant Service

About the role

The Food Service Ambassador works across all food and beverage outlets of the hotel, including room service, restaurant, and conference & events areas. You will prepare service areas, welcome and seat guests, and guide them through a personalised dining experience while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and set up service areas for each shift.
• Welcome, seat, and attend to guests from arrival to departure.
• Serve food and beverages, upsell products, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle telephone enquiries with professional etiquette.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience as a Food Service Ambassador or waiter.
• Previous experience in a hotel restaurant environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.
• Commitment to the company’s values and teamwork.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of food and wine.
• Basic barista skills.
• Proficiency with the Micros POS system.
